CAETEC measurement module configuration with CCPKonfig
CCP-Konfig is the CAETEC configuration software designed for the modules of our QIC, CLIC and CLIC-SL series, as well as for our combo boxes.
The module parameters can be configured either offline or online. The parameters are then transmitted online via the CAN bus, using the CCP/XCP protocol.
The module parameters are saved in an INI file. Along with the INI file, a DBC file is generated from the module parameters, making the modules directly available for other CAN applications.
The software CCPKonfig scans the CAN bus and creates a table listing all the connected measurement modules. The serial number on the module housing serves to identify each measurement module.
In the case of modules or ComboBoxes with analog and counter channels, the parameters for the digital filters are also set with CCPKonfig.

DataView – Measurement data evaluation
CAETEC’s dataView software is the ideal tool for viewing, converting and separating large sets of measurement data in an extremely fast and uncomplicated process.
CAETEC’s dataView processes measurement data recorded either as time logs in ATFX or MDF4 format, or as full-trace recordings in Vector-ASCII or BLF format.
Tabular presentation – Trace files are initially presented in table form. By selecting channels, IDs and time slots, you can quickly find specific data sections, extracting them if necessary, for processing elsewhere, with less rapid analysis tools.
Graphic presentation – Able to import DBC description files, dataView can present the content of trace files as graphs.
The content of time logs can also be viewed as graphs, displayed in a variety of different views.
Conversion – In addition to these presentation options, dataView also supports bidirectional conversion between BLF and ASCII files.
Extraction – An additional feature allows you to extract data from individual channels or from freely selected time ranges, writing the data into separate files or combining several files.
Phoenix – The configuration tool for CAETEC data loggers
Phoenix is our application for configuring the CAETEC data loggers of the ARCOS-/µCROS product family. Phoenix comprises a parameterizing part and a free programming environment. In additional to manual input of signals and functions, Phoenix allows you to read in existing configurations, and parts thereof, as well as such description files as Fibex, dbc, A2L, etc. Phoenix generates a complete configuration file for autonomous operation of the data loggers.
The data loggers are run with the Linux-based program CAETEC-dataLog, and the functionalities of Phoenix and dataLog have been adjusted to match. For further information, you will also find the range of functions covered in the the logger hardware documentation helpful.
